Position Title: Regional Organizing Director
Reports Directly To: National Organizing Director
Direct Reports: State Directors and Chapter Leads
Work Schedule: Part-time, approx. 8-10 hours/week

Position Summary: Generation Ratify is currently searching for organizers across the country to provide leadership, guidance & advice to new and current Generation Ratify chapters on a regional level. We are currently searching for one Regional Organizing Director for each of the following regions:
➔ Southwest: Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada.
➔ Gulf South: Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas.
➔ Northeast: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and New York.
About Generation Ratify: Generation Ratify is the youth-led movement to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment and advance gender equality in the United States. We do this through legislative, judicial, and community based advocacy to advance feminist policies, empowering the youth vote for progressive, pro-ERA, gender equality sense candidates, and empowering young women-identifying, non-binary, gender nonconforming, and femme folx to claim their power in all spaces.
➔ Work with Generation Ratify National to fulfill the needs of state and local leaders;
➔ Onboard new chapters and assist chapters in getting off the ground;
➔ Maintain effective communication between local, state, and national leaders;
➔ Consistent calls with the Generation Ratify National Organizing Team and 1:1s with State Directors and other state and local leaders as needed;
➔ Work with National Directors to develop and execute national and regional campaigns related to organizing and policy.
➔ Minimum 8 hours a week spent on assigned tasks and projects;
➔ Participation in weekly meetings with National Organizing Team, National Team, and State and Local Leaders;
➔ Completion of assigned duties and tasks within set deadlines.
➔ 25 years or younger;
➔ Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment;
➔ A passion for Generation Ratify and an intersectional approach to gender equality;
➔ Excellent organization and communication skills;
➔ Experience with gender equality advocacy preferred but not required.
